Traditional Design Services Offered
The Residential Services Department of DCM Architecture, Inc. offers
a wide range of services to meet our client’s needs

- Homes and Town homes compatible with Neo-traditional neighborhoods
- Live/Work Mixed-Use community planning & Design (upper level living product over offices and/or commercial below)
- Duplex’s, Triplex’s, Quad-plex Ranch Condo’s, and Mansion Flats
- Senior Housing with Universal Design features incorporated
- 2-pack, 3-pack, and 4-pack homes for tight lot restrictions
- Jewel Box Designs (smaller homes that are highly detailed with old world styling)
- Specific width product collections: 25’ Alley homes, 30’ Courtyard homes, 35’ Bungalow’s, 40’ & 45’
- Cottage’s, 50’ Village homes, 60’ Estates, and 70’ Manor’s
Additional Design Services
- Charette leading and implementation
- Color Renderings (typically for a planning commission meeting, financial institution, or model homes’ sales complex)
- Neighborhood Visioning and Pattern Book Development
- Construction Administration. We supervise and manage the entire construction process on your behalf. Our responsibilities would include leading a pre-construction meeting with your selected contractor/builder, then recommending that construction inspections occur at the following intervals: after the foundation is poured; when framing is 50% complete and then again when framing is finished; after all drywall is up; after the trim work and cabinets are installed; and a final inspection just before move in. Our purpose would be to act as a liaison between you and the contractor to ensure the quality and style of the project remain consistent according to our vision.

- Programming of residential housing types with specific architectural styles
- Site Planning Hardscapes. We provide site planning with details & layouts for elements such as pools, terraces, retaining walls, entrance monuments, and garden structures.
- Bidding Negotiation. We can assist you in preparing construction contracts, organizing the construction bidding process, lead bid collection & bid opening meetings, and prepare legal documents for the awarding of construction contracts.
- Floor plan Collaterals for sales & marketing
- Floor plan critique and re-design of clients existing product to stimulate sales
- Alternate elevation studies of clients existing product
