Seven Semi-Custom Design Concepts – Marietta, GA

In the Summer of 2008, DCM Architecture, Inc. was hired to develop some conceptual floor plan choices for a specific lot in an existing Marietta, Georgia neighborhood. The lot was 85’ wide x 140’ deep. The program was to design a 5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bath, 3 Car Garage home with formal Living & Dining and a huge Kitchen visually connected to the Nook, Screen Porch, and Family room. The existing A.R.C. required that the main garage be screened from the street.

Concepts #1 & #2 concentrated on Master-on-the Main ideas of living, while concepts #3 through #7 focused on an upstairs Master Suite with the introduction of a 6th bedroom/opt. Study downstairs. While #7 was chosen for production, all seven concepts were well designed and competently poised to sell quickly on the open market.
